Georg Mend Grain Sack Stencil

Part of the Ellen J Goods collection, the Georg Mend grain sack stencil is inspired by an authentic antique German grain sack.  The grain sacks would contain the farmers name, his village and the year. Many sacks would  also have images that represent the farm’s business. According to tradition, a man would travel from farm to farm  and was hired to personalize the homemade sacks with a custom made stencil.  The stencil is cut from high quality 10 mil mylar and can be used with both paint and Embossing Paste for raised stenciling.
