
How to Make Gift Card Tags with IOD Paint Inlays
Have you tried the new IOD paint inlays yet? They can seem intimidating at first. That’s why I put together this fun project so you can see first hand how easy they are to use! So pull up a seat and get ready for a simple, yet elegant tag that can be used to give a gift card, cash, or note.
Here’s a kit if you want to follow along and make one with me!

What you’ll need for this project:

One wooden tag 6″ x 3″ with jute hanger

One piece of Rose Toile paint inlay

Two pieces of color coordinating scrapbook paper

One IOD mould casting (designs may vary)
-
One sample size of Fusion Transfer Gel
Additional supplies needed to complete the project (not included in the kit)

Paint for wooden tag – Victorian Lace was used in video

Glue

Paint brush

Paint for mould casting – Upper Canada Green was used in video

Glaze for mould casting (can also use watered down paint)
