Fusion Ultra Grip
Have a really tricky surface to paint? Our Ultra Grip allows for Fusion to adhere to surfaces that are typically not for painting such as a lacquered surface, laminate, metal or glass. Paint can have a difficult time sticking to slick surfaces. That’s what it is made for! This product adheres to the impossible, in particular, melamine and thermafoil cabinetry. Milky when wet, it dries translucent with very good clarity. For optimum adhesion, clean the surface to be painted with T.S.P.
Ultra Grip comes in two sizes: 8.5 oz and 16 oz.
How to Use Ultra Grip:
Apply one very thin coat with a car was sponge. Allow to dry for 12 hours before applying subsequent coats of Fusion™ colors. Clean up with water. Because Ultra Grip is so strong, it can hold more texture, so if you apply it heavily with a brush, you will see brush marks. So, apply thin and sparingly with a sponge.

I was dubious but bought it and kept my fingers crossed. So far, seems to be working well under the fusion paint. I have washed the cabinet several times and no problem with the paint.
