Stain and Finishing Oil Quarts

You love Fusion’s Stain and Finishing OIl.  So much so that Fusion now makes Stain and Finishing Oil Quarts!   Available now in four colors, Cappuccino, Ebony, Driftwood, and White.  Golden Pine and Natural coming soon.  Get the equivalent of four small cans for the price of three.

This amazing stain is a penetrating stain.  If refinishing the top of a piece, sand it down to raw wood, starting with 100 grit and moving though all the grits 0 120-150-180.  Don’t sand over 180 or you’ll close the pores of the wood.  Wipe down with mineral spirits and it’s ready to stain.  Wood conditioner is optional.  Stir the stain well.  Brush or wipe on a coat of stain.  Wait 5 minutes or so and wipe back until towels are clean.  Wait 12 hours before applying a second coat.  For added protection or sheen, apply a third coat of Natural.  No need for a top coat.  It’s built in.

Stain and Finishing Oil can also be used like a stain over Fusion Mineral Paint.  Give the paint a week or two to begin to cure well, brush stain on with a brush and wipe back with a dry rag or rag damp with Odorless Solvent.
