General Finishes Water Based Stain
General Finishes Water Based Stains have high-quality pigments that produce rich, dark, uniform colors on hard-to-stain woods like maple and pine. They are superior to oil based stains in many ways. Low odor, low VOC, water cleanup, and noncombustible. The water based stains are “green” and environmentally friendly. These stains are now formulated with more than 50% RENEWABLE RESOURCES formulated from sustainable materials that decrease the carbon footprint. Brush, roll, spray, or use a pad applicator.
We recommend one of General Finishes High Performance Top Coats to seal the stain. Available in four sheens: Gloss, Semi Gloss, Satin, and Dead Flat.
Currently available in five colors and pint sizes.
